This Saturday I spent the day in New York with Clark Musical Theatre. About 20 of us went to spend the day. We got up really early in the morning and got to the city around noon. We saw the matinée performance of Avenue Q, which was awesome, and then we spent the evening hanging out in NYC.
We went to dinner at a Diner where the waitstaff sings for you which was a lot of fun, and then we walked up 5th avenue and played in the World of Disney and FAO Schwartz.
On the way home we had to stop in CT because the bus driver had to tighten one of the lug nuts, so for the hour and a half we were waiting, we reenacted our spring musical from last year Once On This Island. We kept it pretty quiet because people were sleeping, but it was a ton of fun.
I’ve attached a bunch of pictures from the day (thanks to Allie Schenkler and Sophie Crafts for the photos).
