Saint Patty’s Day Parade and Britney Concert

Hey everyone,

I hope everyone had a happy Saint Patty’s day! Since I’m Irish, Saint Patrick’s day is pretty big holiday for me. So to celebrate it, my friends and I all went to the Saint Patrick’s day parade on Sunday. The parade is a pretty big deal here in Worcester. It runs down Park Ave which is just a 5 minute walk from the Clark campus. There were lots of people there from Clark too. One of our friends even had a green suit that he wore around all day. It was so great that they even let him jump on some of the floats. Miss Massachusetts also made an appearance. Here are some pictures from the parade…

Last night my friend Jess and I went into Boston for the night for the Britney Spears “Circus” concert. We’re really big Britney fans and were sooo excited to hear that she was touring again so of course we had to get tickets. We bought them in December and had been looking forward to the concert ever since. Britney did not disapoint. The concert was AMAZING! It was at the TD Banknorth Garden and the place was absolutely packed. The Pussycat Dolls opened for her and they were pretty great too. After they performed they had real circus performers come out to keep us entertained before Britney. There were clowns, acrobats, dancers, and more. All in all it was a great night and I’m so happy that we got tickets. Here are some pictures from the concert…

Today the softball team had a double-header at Bridgewater State College. We ended up splitting with them, losing the first game 6-2 and then winning the second game 4-3. Although I hoped to win both, we still played well against a good team. Our next game is Saturday against Wellesley College. Wish me luck!
