Spree Day

Today was Spree Day!  A Spring staple at Clark, Spree Day is said to have started years ago when the President of the University saw how nice it was outside and decided to cancel classes so students could enjoy a break.  This has evolved into a day full of concerts, games, food and more!  Everything except for classes can happen on Spree Day.  While it’s supposed to be a secret, people usually find out before the early morning e-mail is sent out announcing it.

Due to unstable weather, Spree Day activities were inside, instead of on the main Green.  Doors open at 7:30AM and games are available until 1:30pm, when the main concert starts happening.  Games are the large inflatable bouncy types.  Throughout the morning there are students bands playing.  This year’s main act was Guster.   After Guster, I went to watch soccer with some friends.  Here are some pictures from my Spree Day:

I’m glad to have had a day off.  There is exactly a month left until the last possible final, so despite the rainy start to the day, the sun is shining in Worcester (literally)!

Have a good rest of the week,

Jeremy
