Intramural Soccer Game, IA End of Year Party, and Open House

Hey everyone,

I was pretty busy this week for my papers and presentations. Next week is the last week of class and all my final projects and exams are coming. Besides studying hard, I went to some of the events, such as an intramural soccer game, IA end of year party. I also tabled on Saturday for the Admitted Student Open House.

I went to an intramural soccer game on Wednesday. For the fall semester, there was the outdoor intramural soccer, whereas for the spring, the games are held indoor in the Dolan House at the multipurpose court. It was the last game for my friend’s team, Diablo, and they went all out trying to score. They made four goals and also had many good attempts; however, the final result was 4-1 which was not good enough to take them into the play-offs. Nevertheless, it was a great game and all the players did their best.

Initial Advantage held our “end of year party” on Friday. We ordered food from Nancy Chang and played some name guessing game. The food was divine and Trista made good juice shake. For the game, we wrote names of famous people on small pieces of papers, fold them, and put them into a container. One person will open the papers and describe the name without saying it while others on the team will guess. I was not good at guessing names because I don’t know many of the American stars but the game was so much fun. For some reason, Donald Duck and Obama are the two most popular names picked by people.

Saturday and Sunday were Admitted Student Open House time. I tabled for Equestrian Team on Saturday in the Kneller
Center. Four or five people have ridden before and one girl is definitely coming to Clark this fall. We were all quite excited and shared not only experience riding with the Equestrian Team, but also more about life at Clark. If you have any questions or concerns about Clark, feel free to leave a comment or email me.

Have a nice week.
