Last post

Hey everyone,

This is the last post of my Clark Diaries. It has been a great experience for me to share my life at Clark with everyone. I cannot believe this semester is already ending. I am going to study abroad in London next year through the LSE Program (London School of Economics and Political Science) and I am really excited about it. Of course, I will miss everyone at Clark.

Last Wednesday was the anuual Academic Spree Day. There were posters of students’ research projects in Tilton Hall and presentations in the conference room all day long. It offered a great opportunity for us to learn more about different researches going on at Clark, and gave students a glimpse of what senior thesis are about.  As an econ major myself, I paid special attention to the econ department’s section. They posted around 12 research projects including “Forward capcity charges in the US electricity market”, “Foreign direct investment location choice in mainland China” and “Determinants of the US Saving Rate–Interest Rate Primacy?”. Students and sponsoring professors explained their projects to the fellow students who were interested in knowing more. It was an educational and fun event.

It is time for me to work hard on my final exams and papers. Good luck to everyone and have a nice weekend.
