Blaize Denfeld

Hi! My name is Blaize Denfeld and I am a senior at Clark this year. I am majoring in Environmental Science with a concentration in Earth System Science and am pursuing a minor in Geography. This summer I had the great opportunity to conduct research with Professor Frey in the Siberian Arctic. I am a member of the Clark Women’s Basketball team and am one of the representatives for my team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). SAAC is a group whose objectives are to get the campus more engaged in athletics, get athletes involved with the community and encourage inter-team support. This year I am co-chair for the community involvement committee and look forward to the annual Trick-o-Treat for canned goods. As part of community service many athletes are involved with the Big Brother Big Sister Program which I have been involved with since my first year at Clark.  I am also a member of Scarlet Key, a student group connected with Clark admissions, in which I give campus tours and conduct senior interviews for perspective students. This year I joined CUGA, Clark Undergraduate Geography Association, a club dedicated to students that are interested in sharing a common enthusiasm for Geography. I am very excited for my senior year, as there are a lot of upcoming events I look forward to. I will try my best to share my experience at Clark with you and look forward to a fulfilling year!
